At Wonder & Nature, we cherish the time children spend exploring, feeling, and discovering for themselves, starting from small questions and sparks of excitement.
Rather than searching for the "correct" answer, we focus on the process: seeing, touching, feeling, and thinking.
That very process is where true learning resides.

Wonder & Nature is a Saturday Inquiry-Based Class born from the educational philosophy of YMCA Global Kindergarten.
●Target Age: Preschoolers to Kindergarteners (Ages 3–5)
●Schedule: An annual program held every Saturday.
●Morning Session: 9:45 AM – 11:45 AM

Choice Time
See, Touch, and Try
Various invitations and provocations scattered throughout the environment act as sparks, deepening play and learning according to each child’s individual interests and curiosity.
Inquiry Time
Nurturing the Seeds of "I Wonder Why?"
We take the time to dive deep into the seeds of curiosity found in our surroundings.
The goal is not to find a single correct answer, but to fully engage with the process, fostering a strong, internal desire to learn.
Reflection Time
Sharing Our Discoveries
Children freely express what they felt and the hypotheses they formed.
By turning unspoken thoughts into words or drawings and sharing them with friends, their insights and perspectives grow even deeper.

*This fee is not based on attendance.
*For families who are not currently members of Yokohama YMCA, a one-time YMCA membership fee of ¥1,000 (tax-free) is required at registration.
