Joey Class
A Gentle Gateway to the World Beyond Home.
Pure feelings, waiting to find their words.
A small spark of "I want to touch, I want to try."
The warm sense of security found in being with others.
Joey Class is a peaceful "beginning,"
where children reach out into the world at their own pace.
What Grows in Joey Class
This is the Pre-Kindergarten course of YMCA Global Kindergarten.
Just like a baby kangaroo (Joey) peeking out from its mother’s pouch,
this is a place where children grow, wrapped in abundant love within a secure environment.
In Joey Class,
our highest priority is for children to feel deeply loved and to grow with peace of mind.
- ●The experience of being accepted exactly as they are.
- ●The warm security of having their feelings understood.
- ●Interactions through gazes and gestures, even before words are formed.
- ●The peace of mind that protects the budding desire to "give it a try."
The accumulation of these gentle daily moments develops the "backbone" that will support children throughout their lives.

Growing Among People (Connection with Families)
Taking the first step into a group environment is a big,
heart-pounding moment for both children and their families.
In Joey Class, we strive to ensure that each child can settle in at their own pace.
We wish to look at the same scenery as the family, facing the same direction, and supporting the child’s growth together.
Our Teachers & Staff
Our staff, who deeply understand early childhood development, are dedicated to being present with each child.
We pay close attention to the small changes and signs in daily life,
constantly discussing as a team to find the "best way to engage with the child at this very moment.
" Within our daily life, we create an environment where English exists naturally as a warm resonance.
